Trix .... that was why I liked it ..... some of the recipes look very simple and lots of store-cupboard ingredients. And most of them look quite filling ..... which is always a plus. :D

MD....I have a Mennonite cookbook which I misplaced and it has a wonderful pancake recipe in it that I'm looking for....their recipes are usually very easy, very tasty, and usually made with ingredients found in most households!!!! I love the cucumber,onion,sour cream salad!!!!...

Trix .... I don't know what brought you to be looking at Amish recipes but I've bookmarked the link ..... there are some delicious sounding recipes. Haggis is usually lamb or mutton but that Hog Maw sounds very similar .... in fact ... I think it sounds even better.

I can't say I noticed this much wind last year and at the moment it's coming from the east not the west ...... which means it's not American wind. LOL Hey!!!!!!!!! Maybe that's why I didn't see your balloon. LOL!!!!
