Her books are very light reading, the kind you could finish in a few hours.  They're quite fun when you need to relax your brain after an Ian McEwan or Margaret Atwood.  :D Anyway, sorry there won't be any more Hamish or Agatha.

Actually, just about the same.  We're at 48F and sunny but are looking at a week of rain coming up.  I'm trying to get enough energy to pop over to the library and pick up a book that's on hold for me.  Coincidentally, it's M.C. Beaton's last book. :{

LOLOLOL It's 43F but not raining.  A minor miracle   .... although there's supposed to be rain for the next 5 days.  I trust it's a lot warmer in Oregon.

Silver Squirrel .... the south was my stomping ground!  If you go to Avignon ..... don't be surprised that the famous bridge only goes half way across the river.  As for Grenoble .... if ever you get the chance, you must visit but keep off the paved square near the railway statio...
