Actually MD, they are really shy ... we have to take all the photos of them from indoors ... if we tried to step outside they would simply stampede off into the trees ... it's happened before, LOL!

Mira ....... on my delve into The Bench (to see what you'd said about giving up Opentopia in Nov 2013) I came across mention of moose balls and it reminded me that we were once choosing our menu at Nelly's. I was going to have moose balls followed by mousse balls!

Trix, it's fabulous isn't it! :D Scandinavian ancestry definitely stays in your blood. My hubby has often remarked that he feels "homesick" for Scandinavia in a way he can't explain, even though it was his grandfather who came over from Norway. :)

Mira .... I just had a quick peep at that and I'll find time to enjoy it. At the moment I'm watching a prog about the building of the Ice Hotel. They have just had a 4 day heat wave .... the temperature reached 1c and caused panic.
