A working toilet is a necessity .... not something for which you should have to be eternally grateful to him. And I suppose now he has the sulks. You've been very patient .... waiting all that time but I know you've had no choice. So damned frustrating.

i wanted this stuff done when the kids were little...and now that the kids are gone, he will do it....as if the kids didn't deserve to have a nice home to live in!!!!

I just swore!!!! My hubby used to say exactly that ..... "I'm doing it for you." And you are supposed to feel so grateful for having a repair done that's probably been long overdue. It makes my blood boil. Grrrrrrrrr

MD...it's so upsetting....he has been sanding out bumps in the walls for 2 days now....it's a tiny bathroom!!!!! he then, of course, forgets things and has to keep going outside, about 15 times, or to the cellar, about 20 times and in the mean time he has the bathroom window open...
