Hello Siver Squirrel, I have lived in the Cleveland area all my life. I like the change of seasons but actually like winter better than spring. It seems it is always wet here during spring. Fall is tops for me.

It makes them so selfish ..... only thinking of one thing. You could ring her. I used to get my son to text me when he was safely indoors and ready for bed.  I'll re-phrase that ...... he would text me and tell me he was home.

You won't feel settled until you know she's back home. I suppose you couldn't ask her to ring and let you know? Too late for today though.  My daughter always texts me to say she got home safely from work ..... and she only lives 5 minutes walk from work.  LOL

Deacon, are you a native of Cleveland?  You seem to have a feel for what it's like to live there.  My husband is a born and raised Clevelander.   Neither of us misses the harsh winters.

I lived in Cleveland Nov. 2000-Sept. 2007.  Six months of winter is a bit much!   I now live in Arizona ...  There could be snow by Halloween.  It's not unusual.
