Good morning Trix .... I have an oriental rug in my hallway. I love it. I sometimes feel quite guilty treading on it but it shows no signs of wear. It's worth paying that bit extra for good quality. Are you still excited about the 23rd? I know I would be. LOL

MD, you hit on something there that we may have to talk more about. Doyle, in the Holmes series was one of my favorite authors from the time I was old enough to read. My parents taught me a love of reading that's been with me all my life. Wow, to hear you tell that bit of history...

Wynn ..... Arthur Conan Doyle, author of Hound of the Baskervilles, was in this area having a vacation. He did a tour of the moors in a coach driven by a Mr Baskerville who lived in my town. That's where he got the title of the book from. Mr Baskerville's house is still here .......

Wynn .... we don't get such high temperatures ... it was in the 80's in July, this coming week we are forecast to have temperatures of 63/64 and no rain at all. Being on the edge of the moor ..... we get minus temperatures in winter but not often on consecutive days. No need to r...

MD....we have never locked the doors when we leave because someone is always home, but i lock them at night because g-daughter walked in one night and stole my purse....took all the money and threw it in a dumpster!!

Trix ..... now I'm puzzled. If the doors lock but you have no key .... how do you get back in when you've been out? Even more reason for having the locks changed .... then you would have keys. :D
