At the moment hubby and I are exchanging texts about the holiday and reminiscing about old times in Spain!!!! My hubby really does have a hearing problem but could hear a coin fall on a carpet and tell whether it was head or tails!  LOL

It's surprising how far it spreads. I never saw anything of Mira yesterday but I don't think it's anything to do with the fires. I agree with Susan about getting away from the place if fires get closer. It's not the fear of being burned ... it's the fact that you can't breath pro...

MD...that looked terrible....years ago, there was a forest fire here miles away but the air got hazy and we could smell the smoke!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3o76Epq7UU This was my last fire experience. The Mediterranean is only a couple of miles from the fire and the Canadairs fill up with water from there. We could always tell if the fire was moving away or coming closer by how long it took the Canada...

I'd be so scared if I lived out that way. I've been within a few of miles of several forest fires and they move so fast. Just away from the coastline  in South of France is full of forests and almost every year some moron starts a fire.

Trix ....... you are so laid back ..... on the surface. I can't wait for hubby to find the pear tree ..... though I don't want him to get up early and spoil your me-time.  :D
