Wynn, we have a few artisan bakeries which sell some really nice hand made breads and pastries etc. ... the smell is intoxicating. ;) I'm on the North Olympic Peninsula in WA.

Mira .... quite a few of the Washington cams seem smokey. Be sure you have a Plan A and a Plan B.

I'm not aware there are any fires in the Centralia area but smoke from wildfires can travel long distances, as we witnessed with the orange skies we had here from the B.C. fires.

You better believe it, I sure can. Reminds me of some bakeries I remember as a child. Sadly, there are really no more like that around here now. Funny how smells like that remain in our memories all our lives. Just for your info, I'm located in SE Georgia. That's USA, guess I bet...

It could well be smoke MD ... the Cougar Creek fire is in that area.
