Our "climate control" system has built in air filters, so when the forced air is pumped through the house it keeps it pretty clean. Hubby has pollen allergies, so on its cool setting it has been a godsend during this hot weather.

Yes MD, a good downpour would be welcome but there's no rain in forecast, unfortunately. It looks really spooky outside at the moment ... air quality is deteriorating too.

Mira ..... that must have been a bit worrying until you read what's causing it. I see the red flag warning is to be lifted at 5pm so things must be improving. This is when a good downpour would work wonders. I read also that you have low humidity. We've had 100% humidity at times...
