Hi Mira .... the weather is ideal at the moment....... not too hot and a lovely breeze, sunny patches. I hope it stays like this for Glastonbury ..... they deserve a break!

Plus, Midsummer is a throwback to the olden times when only two seasons were recognised ... so it's celebrated around the summer solstice ... just like Midwinter is celebrated around the winter solstice. :)

Deacon...... Borgholm is on the island of Oland. If you look at the link ... you will see that under "Events and Festivities" ... Midsummer is celebrated in June. We didn't make it up .... so that's not why time flies for us but I bet it drags for you. http://www.sverigeturism.se...

LOL!!! You have no idea how many of these views remind me of The Sound of Music. And any Bavarian cams remind me of The Great Escape ..... it was filmed there. So much trivia filed away. LOL!!!
