Mira, that island is 100km south of Kagoshima City. It's still part of Kagoshima  Prefecture. A huge surprise to see on the news... and a 9km high ash cloud? Amazing.

Regardless of how strange this person is, there has to be just a touch of narcissistic behaviour here. No matter of how full the screen is with her notes, there is always a small window to see her.

Fabulous Luc!  Your ambient music goes so well with the moods of the lake ... and the time lapse really high-lights the amazing movement of the clouds.  Well done!  :)

Luc .... that was amazing! After the ice had disappeared - the reflection of the clouds on the water was beautiful. Well done. :)

Actually, I think it's a pied wagtail ... they are often attracted to their own reflection in glass or mirrors.  :) http://www.tobyhoultonphotography.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/PiedWag_flying_960.jpg
