much easier to just have breakfast with the kids and go to bed after, but men don't have logic!!! i'm afraid the 2 bigger chicks get most of the food during the day...wee ones get leftovers if there are any!!!

There was a brief downpour which helped nicely. I have no boat and cannot swim the required 3.5 miles to get out there. Water temp still at 49 degrees.

I did say to my hubby that if he stayed up and had a cuppa and toast .... then he would be able to go to bed just that bit later without the irritation. I pointed out that people who come home from work at 6pm don't usually go to bed the instant they come home. And I have worked...

MD....it always amazed me...hubby falls asleep in the livingroom chair where all the kids are, and sleeps there for hours, but once he gets into the bedroom, all have to be silent!!! my first hubby worked night shift once but he was a more reasonable person!!!!

Trix ..... that comment gave me an awful flashback. When I married for the second time I had 2 children. My new hubby worked shifts. I absolutely dreaded him doing night shifts. He would get into bed and be just dropping off as the kids were getting up for school. You can imagine...
