LOL MD....i hope your summer isn't over yet!! hubby put a bucket in the bathroom so we can "bucket flush", but i refuse to do it because if he sees that it works fine that way, it will never get fixed!!!!

Sometimes things just sneak up on you and it's hard to pull yourself out of it. Anyway ..... there's no rule that says you have to be bright and breezy every day. Our April had the most sunshine for the month since records began! However ..... that was probably our summer. :))

hubby went out to get fiddleheads yesterday...i stayed home wallowing in sadness....sometimes it just hits me like a ton of bricks that my BFF is gone........ i saw on the news that monday, new hampshire was the warmest state in the country!!!!

Homely .... I'm not sure they drowned ...... unless they were lying on their backs - beaks open - catching rain. We never saw the nest with a pool in it. I think it was a combination of the poor things being cold and wet. I wish someone would tidy it up so that next year we might...
