Trix..... surface water must be what comes off my roof and goes down their drains. It actually says on the bill "if you think your property does not discharge surface water into our sewers, please call us." The standing charges cover running costs such as: reading meters, billing...

disposal of surface water??????? doesn't it just run off or do people actually come and take it away??? if thats the case than i can understand the charge but if it just runs off on its own...what the heck!!!!!!!!!

Trix ... I don't think I've been getting that refund since April 2013 ... doesn't seem like 2 years to me. I'm billed for what I use... plus standing charge for water, plus standing charge for sewerage, plus the disposal of surface water.

MD....i think it said "untill 2020?" are you billed a flat rate....we are only billed for what we use!!! my bill is about $60.00 every 3 months!!!!

Trix ..... it's just a way of making people pay a fortune for water. We have been very lucky in Devon. The water people had to admit we'd been paying far too much so each bill now has a reduction. I paid my water bill on Friday and although they only reduced it by £12.50 .... it ...
