Trix...... I think most of us have done the same. I was an only child so my parents had such a peaceful life. LOL I hope that snow stays where it's supposed to. You don't want any..... it might interfere with the school bus. :))

MD...i felt so bad and broken to have crap like that spew from my mouth...i tell you that was the first and last time...i never wanted my kids to fear me...just do as i ask some times :) at least with 6 kids i always have 1 who is doing great at the moment!!

Trix.... I can't help but laugh. My kids still call me mommie dearest!!!! I was lucky because they each had a room so they didn't argue or kick up a din. If they didn't want to sleep they could read or do colouring .... nothing noisy. I don't condone people abusing their kids bu...

MD...they had me so pissed one night i went in the room and told them to "discuss between the 3 of them which 1 will be willing to die first should i have to come back to the room again"....sooo horrid i was....the next day they got the discussion on the importance of "mommy free...

MD...when the kids were 13 -14 years old i was weakening...at 9 they went to their room but they didn't go to sleep till much later but i didn't care as long as they were quiet!!!!

Trix... I think mine were about 10 when the 9 pm bedtime started. My son is the youngest and sometimes I would put them both to bed.... daughter went into her room first so that son could see..... then he would happily go to bed. While I was saying goodnight to him... sometimes ...

MD...yes....meals done by 6:00....bed at 8:00...when they were 10 years old bedtime was 9:00!!!
