MD...my BFF rents out 3 houses and when something stops working she gets new...furnace, water heater, well pump, and appliances...she says she feels she has to so she doesn't have to worry about constant repairs!!!

MD...i have put my foot down on some things...the kids used to come to the kitchen at 10 or 11 at night and start cooking food...i finally told the the kitchen closes at 9...you ought to see them rushing about at 8:55 trying to get in that last snack..LOL

Trix... my kids went to bed at a decent time and I never had trashed rooms. They used to moan when I said it was bedtime but I never got much argument from them. The difference is they were my children. You're in the awkward position of not being the parent. I'd feel like chastis...

MD...it doesn't help when the kids mom has no set bedtime or schedule for them at all...i think thats why they are so cranky...never know whats next...plus they trash the bedroom with mom right there and an hour later she will see it and react with surprise!!!

Trix... I'm glad the furnace is working but what a landlord. To my mind.... if he replaces it with a "used" one... someone else has had the best out of that one... that's why they have parted with it. He's a mean landlord. If he replaced it with a new one... he'd get a lot more y...

MD...furnace was cleaned and is working...although the guy said it should be "red tagged" and asked if our co detector was in working order (it is) the furnace is 43 years old and landlords will only replace it with a "used " one to save money!!!
