I'm not sure that bacon salt is available outside the northwest USA, unless you can order it from their website. We send a parcel to my daughter sometimes, as it's vegan friendly. :)

MD, personally I've always worried more about pollution in the oceans ... if the oceans die, we die. :( I never really give as much thought to space junk, probably because the majority of it burns up in the atmosphere before it reaches the ground.

Mira... butternut squash is my favourite. Trix mentioned baking with butter and brown sugar. I'm going to try that. I buy lots of pumpkin seeds but I've yet to find bacon salt.

I do sometimes MD, although any flesh I scoop out normally gets cooked along with potatoes and mashed with butter as a side dish. I prefer butternut squash for making soup. I also roast the pumpkin seeds in the oven ... they taste great coated in bacon salt. :D

I just got my annual pumpkin to carve. After Halloween it's always used as the head of the "Guy" that we burn on Bonfire Night (Nov. 5th.) :)
