the founder was fired and new people wanted to fire part time workers and take benefits away and raise prices in the store....everyone got together and protested till founder was able to take control again...been a long time since the people have had such a effect on anything.......

Rather depressing. :( Living out in the sticks, we have to be practical when it comes to shopping, so we try to split our groceries between the supermarket, farmer's market and local producers. A lot also depends on the time of year of course ... when things are not in season ...
