I'm a 12th night person. I put the decorations up about a week before Christmas but by 12th night I've had enough of them. I have a huge lava lamp on all year round, makes me feel quite festive all the time!! LOL

It doesn't shock me any more MD but I still cannot stand seeing anything out of season in the stores, relating to holidays. We buy a pumpkin a week before Halloween and I bake a pumpkin pie on the day ... we usually ignore Thanksgiving ... and our tree/decorations go up two week...

I wouldn't be surprised if they serve drinks/refreshments there ... little roadside kiosks seem to the norm in Europe ... a bit like our local java huts. ;)

Mira Bilis... you mentioned Christmas on another cam. On Tuesday I went into Newton Abbot to a cheap card shop. I wanted 2 "Thank You" cards for Tesco. I was shocked to see that one wall of the shop is stocked with Christmas cards already!
