I have to admit... I've noticed that, in films, Americans always seem to shout more than Canadians. If there are 2 films being shown at the same time... if one is Canadian - that's the one I'll watch. More restful to my ears. LOL

And I've always found that the people are very friendly. I've visited lots of countries, the channel is such a narrow stretch of water and once you are across.... the continent's your oyster!

OMG!!!!!! Carol, at times you can't find a space to swim, it's so full of people. I always found that about 6pm was the best time to go swimming. People who have been there all day tend to disappear at about that time.

Hi Carol...... it's not completely separate but it certainly is popular with bathers. Plus, the water always feels a bit warmer!

I've been here in December when the sunworshippers have gone home. It's lovely at that time of year... still warm during the day but the evenings are a little cool..... but still a darned sight warmer than the UK.
