Trix, they hardly move the eggs at all. I got my day 31 from your dates.. first egg laid on 21st of June. However, counting on fingers and toes doesn't always work!  LOL

Homely..... LOL!  I'm so glad you are settling in. I picture you sitting out the back with a good glass of wine. These donations, maybe start off small with a rock or two?  :D

MD, I think that all of the problematic creatures are already in place for us. They'd just be a bit closer to the house. The one thing I worried most about seeing here was poisonous snakes, and I haven't even seen any non-poisonous ones just yet. So, I'm feeling pretty comfortabl...

I was thinking of creatures in Homely's area. Mira, I could just picture deer having a swim at your place!

And now dad is taking his turn.

Personally, I think it would entirely depend on what part of the country you live in (and what country, for that matter) regarding having a natural pool in your back yard.  Where I am, there would be no danger of potentially nasty critters, but in other states no doubt there coul...

A big fly just flew across and mom opened her beak but didn't move towards it. Maybe she was expecting it to fly in!

A thought occurs to me...... if the eggs aren't viable, I wonder how long it will be before the parents give up? I've not given up, my toes are crossed!  :) Trix, I hope all is well with you.

Hi Mira Bilis, fancy there being boats!  Shouldn't be surprised really.

Homely!!! While I was typing my last comment, you posted! I love this place. Do you think it would encourage wildlife that would cause problems?
MD · Jul 21, 2014 15:47
I looked at this place yesterday but never noticed the comments. I see Homely's weighing up the pros and cons of having such a pool. I'd love one. Mira Bilis, nice link. I think this place looks lovely. Not sure about 10 sun loungers. 10 in here would be a little crowded. But fu...

Mama seems quite restless today. She went out for a bit and I got a good look at the eggs. I see what you guys mean about your eyes deceiving you into thinking the dark spots are changing! I think we are getting very close, though, from the change in the behavior of the adults. F...
