i have also used 2 slices of bread soaked in 3/4 cup of milk added to the meatballs...but never dill only because i don't like it..i use oregano and basil, garlic, onion,egg and sometimes for a change of pace i add parmesan cheese...

Mira Bilis, I see that the recipe says to serve with cranberry jelly. I really would not have thought of doing that but I will now! The ingredients obviously look similar to what my daughter uses, only pork instead of beef. She uses one egg but I don't know what ratio of breadcr...

LOL @ MD and Trix! :D You could try this one MD ... http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/10365/classic-swedish-meatballs Personally, I always mix breadcrumbs and one beaten egg into minced/ground meat along with the seasoning ... not just because it binds the meat together nicel...
