As an formerly citizen of this town i can help with some infos ;-) The Cam stands on the Ground of a big school for electrician craft, its the leadings School in Germany. The City Oldenburg /Old. (<- this appendix is, because there are 2 Oldenburgs in North Germany.;-)

yes indeed they are huge...I never seen anything like it ...when i was a child we use to sit out and summer heat storms and play in the rain ...not now the lightening alone is so bad ......thanks MD for caring :) we have learn to be very careful...but still need a storm shelter.....

Lunawolf, I saw on UK news that the hailstones were as big as tennis balls, they actually showed a picture of the hailstones with a tennis ball. You be careful and stay indoors if you can. It sounds awful for you. Trix, so sad.
