Mira Bilis, on the Opentopia one there are only 14 stanchions. On your link there seems to be 20 or thereabouts. It's near my bedtime and I kept losing count but there's definitely more than 14 on the link.

I found it. :) The toll gate is on the R-4 motorway between Parla and Pinto (south of Madrid.) The "UFOs" are indeed those plastic balls strung along the high tension wires ... http://s13.postimg.org/adp33sv07/Toll_Gates.jpg

Mira Bilis, I've looked at this place many, many times and not once have I seen anyone looking remotely drunk. I've seen merry people who look as if they've had a good time but no violence or falling-down drunks. As you said, they must be doing something right.
