I love it when they sit squarely on their bottoms with legs stretched out! And yes, those eyes are amazing. Then again, they need to be. Their food supply depends on being able to see well from a distance.

The mountains around here certainly never completely lose their snow on the highest peaks ... the temp at those altitudes is a lot colder I guess. :) Such a gorgeous camera view here, as always.
