Hopefully, places like this should only be used as a last resort. I've always said, if you can't take your pet with you when you go on vacation, then you shouldn't have a pet in the first place.

Kind of a strange town,I mean there are a lot of office or store fronts and maybe even a strip mall and yet the parking lots are always mostly empty and it is rare to see pedestrians. Where is everyone?
