Mira Bilis, I'd be out there gathering a basket full of stuff! I wouldn't be too keen on the seaweed or invertebrates because of possible pollution but the rest of it is amazing. I was surprised by what was available in the UK but your area has a veritable cornucopia of goodies. ...

Trix, yes, just one bunch of yellow flowers. I feel sure it IS a cemetery but isn't it a strange lay out?  And only that one bunch of flowers. Still, the people who are buried won't mind!

Mira Bilis..did you know that you can eat milkweed also...pick when small (under 10-12 inches) put in water and bring to a boil, drain and do it 2 more times and eat...they are good too...

Wow Trix ... I had to look that up! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiddlehead_fern Never knew they were edible!  We have an abundance of ferns here ... I shall have to try some.  One more thing to add to my foraging list.  :)
