Mira the thunderstorms are staying south of us thankfully but we have been getting heavy rain and then this morning it turn cold enough for snow but it has just turn back over to rain.

Mira Bilis, thanks for the links, particularly the first one. I looked at cams (on opentopia) in all of the affected states and happily saw no damage. On that first link the weather still looks like it hasn't finished being bad.

Mira I've tried growing draceana's in the past and have never had any luck with them, the leaves keep on falling off ! but I only have northeast light so there aren't many plants that I can keep alive.
I wonder if put water in the cup and seed on the plate.

well she must of been fixing the vacuum for her husband because he's using it on vacuuming the cracks of the decking. Wasn't it nice of her to get it working for him :)
