I have my laptop sat on top of a sawn off plastic coca-cola crate (raised up on lots of holes) so that it gets plenty of ventilation underneath. The biggest cause of laptop deaths is over-heating due to insufficient air circulating underneath .... that's how my last one died and ...

Trix, it WAS my time until a week or so again when we changed the clocks AGAIN!!!! It is 17.33 for me.
