Mira Bilis, Widecombe is a beautiful little place but, as you can see, very isolated. From where I live there is one bus a week, every Wednesday, to Widecombe. Sadly there is a big drawback. My outward bus is at 13.57. The bus OUT of Widecombe is at 09.13 so unless I want to stay...

You're probably right ... a double garage with maybe a guest apartment above it (or 'granny flat' as we used to call them in the UK.) It's double-glazed anyway, so hopefully they put some heating on occasionally to keep it aired, at least. :-)

trix you could be right. I have a friend who has an entertainment room above her garage. It's nice to use during the summer but during the winter we have to run across the driveway to get to it which isn't always fun up here in the cold tundra !
