Because the map locations pinpoint where the webcam's internet provider is located, rather than the cam's actual geographical location. My advice, ignore the maps, they don't often bear any relation to where the webcam is actually situated. :-)

Lizzie, I'm a Google Streetview Geek ... I love to tour some of the more far flung places like Svalbard or Prudhoe Bay. ;-) I'm also happy to see that Street view has finally arrived in Iceland ... so that will be my next armchair tour. :-)
