Fortunately for me, in the Pacific North-West, fish & chips is a normal meal in most local restaurants. The only difference between the UK and here is that the fish is usually halibut, rather than cod or haddock. :-)

It DOES snow in Barcelona. A few years ago we were on holiday south of Alicante and many roads were closed because of deep snow. One English lady was worried that it would kill her palm trees! MD
