This poor mother keeps touching the babies with her beak. I see another egg. There was one on the 30th of May, to the left of the babies. I don't know if this is the same one. If it is, I have no hope for it at all, given the rain and the fact that it hasn't been kept warm.

Hi Dona and Homely. So sad. I feel sorry for these parents. They are obviously distressed. How can they settle down to everyday living while their dead babies are just lying there? They have to decide what to do because they aren't going to get outside help.
