I know what you mean MD, I have this cam going on my work computer constantly, and check in every 20 minutes or so. Plus, I have my co-workers checking my computer too, just to see the babies. Still waiting for number 5 to hatch, will have to celebrate when that happens!

Hi girls. Aren't the chicks lovely. The parents are amazing how quickly they find food. Maybe tomorrow the last egg will hatch. I spend far too much time watching this cam but someone has to do it! :-))

Good afternoon, still one egg left to hatch....but it is lunch time for these babies. Yummy little grey mouse. It took mommy about 3 minutes to gather the grub. :-)

Good morning, so we have 4 babies, one egg still waiting. Hope it's gonna hatch, then the little family will be complete. I'm amazed how good the daddy bird is at parenting, gotta give him credit. Yeah, names will be next, can't have babies without names! So pleased to be sharing...

Hi Dobielvr. You're correct. I read the previous comments and found there were 3 eggs until 17th April when another egg was laid. then the last one on the 19th. And now 4 of them have hatched. Very good parenting.

Great news, Dobielvr. I have to laugh at the thought of us three peering into this bird box, watching with bated breath for the latest news. It's so exciting. Hi lizardmomma. Definitely a cigar moment when the last chick hatches out! :>

I hate to say it, but it looks like one of the eggs has been eaten by the parent. I saw her eating something earlier this morning, and now I see eggshell in the nest. I was hoping today would be hatching day...not sure what's going on now. What do you guys think?

Dear Kyle, nothing to forgive. Once upon a time I was a ranter myself but eventually I realised that the only person I was winding up was myself. These days I'm happy to put on my rose tinted specs and take the line of least resistance. And I certainly do get a good night's sleep...
