It was just a throwaway line about the "Chocolate box" quaint scene.Dikens did indeed write about the horrors of the working class in UK at the time but he also wrote tales of redemtion like A Christmas Carol etc.Anyhoo it still looks a lovely place...

oh my, usually I dont get it that bad, got the reasoning right though, it was to alieve the terrors of the war for the children, and in a lot of ways, paralleled it Been sick, so likely Im not up to speed yet, hey, dont have another excuse in the face of this embarassment

there was one very strange fellow, he made up a psedonym and talked to himself, one calling the other very nasaty things, the other personna acted the stung nice guy, very believable, never found out that reasoning either hahahaha

I miss the candor, it ws enjoyable, even to put the bad guys in their place had a satisfaction of sorts especially when we all rose to the occation hahahahaha. I miss them all, glad you and Trader are still here
