Just a thought ........ if you're going to have someone come to do housework for you ..... have them come on Monday. I don't expect it would be every week but at least once in a while she could put the rubbish out for you.

yes....we go the 6 inches last Friday, the day of the appointment.
I believe I can have the evening meal....nothing after mid-night.

Well at least that's sorted. Good idea about the hotel. Make it as easy on yourself as you can. I wonder if you can have an evening meal or if you will be starved before the op.
So that 6 inches or so of snow never happened ....... good.

Good afternoon MD....we just got a trace of snow last night.
hospital called....January 10th...6am...so surgery will probably be at 8 or 9...going to check on hotel rooms near the hospital...patients get a discount.
