Hey Rosie, The yellow light is probably a LED (Light emmiting diode) on the cam, And being reflected of the inside of the perspex cam cover. Hence you only see it at night. Take care. Andy.

the cam is locked, will not allow change, I think the owners are watching for wind damage. One must not forget, these are private security cams, we are voyeurs, 'nuff said?
