I buy frozen brussel sprouts. I'm afraid I usually leave fresh ones a little too long before using and they smell awful. The reason the cauli got eaten quickly was because BJ gave it to me. I'd feel guilty wasting it whereas if I'd bought it ..... it would still be sitting ...

Good morning Trix ...... 46 and sunny but feels cooler. I read all my news online. That saves me having to take papers to recycling. I've actually had a real meal today!!!! Cottage pie and cauliflower. That's my cooking done with for a week or 2. LOL!!!

She still has a bottle I gave her at Christmas ...... sitting on the coffee table .... gathering dust. LOL I don't have newspapers and I would never pay for them in advance. At 11pm BJ parcels up the newspapers that haven't sold ..... ready for collection the next day. Happily...

I keep forgetting...have to call my newspaper people tomorrow...I've got about 5 newspapers in the last 3 weeks...I pay them 6 months ahead...I think they owe me some money. We get a newspaper every day, usually.

Incidentally ..... the Iceland shop is very good. You can order online and if you spend £35 you get free delivery. Also ... you can go to the store ......... select your shopping and if you spend £25 they take it home for you .... no charge.
