Well, I did my best to stick it back into the part where it separated, went back around to the driver's side and guess what? When I had rushed out tho check the noise I'd accidentally locked the door - it's right next to the stupid handle - and it had shut, bu twas slightly ajar....

Ha! So, I went to the place - been past the acces road many times - and found the place at the end of it. No one was there, but other people had left some junk, so I dropped them off, got back into my car, & drove a few feet until I heard a 'clunk'. I stopped and hurriedly opened...
