Thanks Observer, but what about the birds? I see large black ones in the distance from time to time, but never any others.

40 years ago, in Colorado, they had oodles of Jack rabbits, you are lucky to see even one now, , as the Ranchers and farmers enlisted the Army's help to eradicate the annoyance, i recall round-ups, it was too efficient

Violet, in Europe, at least it used to be, Hares were a menace to agriculture, i would suspect they have been thinned out
