Hi Silver Squirrel ......... when I was a police officer I worked shifts and I think that disrupted my body clock. I need my 8 hours of sleep ..... no matter what time I go to bed. :D

I'm retired too but I've always been a night owl. I read some study years ago, Can't remember It's origin but It's findings showed that babies born in the morning were morning people and babies born at night turned out to be night owls. Seems fairly accurate according to the peop...

I’m also retired. Not a night owl like MD. But there is no way I’m getting up before 7:30 am. I always hated getting up when it’s still dark. Did that for many years when I worked.

Hi Helen .... this retiree doesn't get up at such a silly time though I have neighbors who do. They get up while it's still dark and go nowhere. Seems pointless to me. I wait until the day has warmed up a bit. :D
