Getting warm according to world opinion, but no open water yet, this flat place they use for a landing strip is a lake or open ocean, cool huh?

I would bwet they watch for Polar bears, as that would be the most , or worse thing they would encounter here

thier Airport is the ice , just left of the camp

there has only been a foot?????? looks like some melting has happened.   maybe they piled the snow up on the forground area for the airstrip, or its too little to bother with, as they use skis on some of the planes, OR the ice here is still too thin

Soon you will see the airstrip on the Bay here, just off shore, facinating

Looks like it's frozen now. The wires on the poles are swinging but the shore line is dead still.

At least this lake/river is ice free as of yet, but the snow is there, it wont be long

I have watched this place all winter, and now most of its summer, i have in my youth tested myself against all terraine and conditions, I  see I'm too old, as this place would no doubt  kill me

I check here all winter, and remember last fall when the river froze, I really dont understand how this much damage happened without showing it on the cam, a real mystery

hmmm I looked about three weeks ago , and the sea was gently lapping at the line up the left side quietly, now its frozen over, hmmm considering it takes a real cold snap to freeze sea water, I say no way Im going there brrrrr hahahahaha
