Trix, thanks for the link. I think it's a bit silly of people to go there just to look at flood water and one person thought it was a beautiful sight. Strange.
N Q, must make you feel that the Midwest is being ignored. I didn't know you'd had such bad flooding.

un-common weather for everyone i think...we got our april showers in june and july with more to come...
N Q07/09/14 01:26
trix with a hurricane, tornados and flooding in other places the flooding in the Midwest only seem to make the local news except for the 2 day the President visited Minnesota. One of those days the national news mention that there were a couple towns in Minn closed down because all of the roads leading in/out of those towns were flooded and they mention a couple of the half dozen bridges that were flooded out.

N Q....i had no idea...and i watch the news...
N Q07/09/14 00:57
trix the St Croix river which flows into the Mississippi has been flooded for the last 3 weeks and it just started going down over the 4th of July so any place down river from me would still be flooded. We had close to record flooding this summer which is totally un-common for us.

oh...it has ...trees on bottom of pic were never in the water before...can't see the banks across the river either...

Girls.... I looked at this cam and was wondering if the river had overflowed its banks. Then I saw your comments. I went to imdb and obviously did exactly the same as I must have done before....... Chuck Connors died in 1992. My bad! As for that Steven Seagal - was he ever ahead? LOL
So, do we think this river has flooded?
Mira Bilis03/13/14 20:07
LOL, true NQ ... him and Steven Seagal should have quit while they were ahead! ;-)
Mira Bilis03/13/14 20:01
Well time hasn't been kind to him ... he looks like an extra from the Walking Dead! ;-P
N Q03/13/14 20:01
Mira I have a feeling MD was just wishing he's died back then. If he had we would of had a lot less bad movies out there :)
N Q03/13/14 19:53
MD I had to do a google search on Chuck because I could of sworn he was still living and yup he is or atleast wikipedia states he was made an honary Texas Ranger in 2010.

Mira Bilis03/13/14 19:52
LOL MD ... maybe it just seems like he's been dead that long! ;-D
Cryogenics must do day release. Chuck died in 1992!
N Q03/13/14 19:33
LOL Mira you might be right !
I'm pretty sure a lot of that white in the river is ice chunks because the ice on the Mississippi just started breaking up this week.
Mira Bilis03/13/14 19:25
It must have been Chuck Norris ... he can drive a speedboat with his sleeves rolled up in those temps. ;-)
N Q03/13/14 19:21
I can't believe I just saw a speed boat go by here. It's in the low 40's here and by the looks of the wind there must be a nice windchill--way too cold to be out in a speed boat !
