It looks like the weekend starts on friday here. Last friday and this friday there's lots of people around the pool as compared to monday through thursday when it's mainly children and mothers.

Lots of people here celebrating today. I'm thinking that it would be fun living here with this celebration right outside your door.

They must be getting ready for their Zebrawoods festival, They've added tropical trees and grass on one side of the pool along with some plastic covered areas that I bet they plan to add sand to. I also see a zebra painted SUV parked there. I wonder how long the festival lasts for.

Homely I took a screenshot of it and ran it through Google Lens, which in turn told me what it was. I've come across a lot of interesting info with using google lens to find where some of these places are or what they are. The buildings are all apartment buildings for the working class and artists and they were built on land that used to be a zoo !

How did you figure out all of that, N Q? Thanks for posting it!

An interesting fact about the this is that the metal pole in the pool is titled "Nagel" (The Nail) by architect and artist Marnix Verstraeten and here is some more google info on it- Symbolism: The giant nail symbolizes the "anchoring" of the Liedts-Meesen Foundation (the family that renovated the site) to the Zebrastraat location. Design: It is positioned in an elliptical pond that reflects the surrounding architecture. This pond serves as a central hub for the complex, transforming into Zebra Beach in the summer and hosting the Zebrawoods festival in the winter. Concept: The artist intended the "nail" to bring a sense of balance to the historic site, serving as an axis around which a "labyrinth of creativity" can cultivate.
