Hi Dona. In the UK we have lots of traffic islands that are just small circles of raised tarmac about 10 or12 feet in diameter. I once heard someone giving directions, saying "Take the first exit at the t*t island." (*= i) Ever since then I can't help but think of them in that way. :D
