OMG...and we scoffed at an increase to 9% on motels...no food tax here though...

No wonder they come to NH to shop. When we lived in France we used to go to Spain for some of our shopping because their taxes are less.

N H is 1 of the last tax free states left ...thats why massachusets and vermont come here to do their shopping...

And 20% tax on a cough syrup. Taxes are a curse!!!

MD...that just doesn't make sense...i would call them and ask...and 20% is a hefty amount...

Speaking of taxes, my last online shop, I noticed that there's 20% tax on crisps (crisp potato slices, I like chicken and thyme flavour) but not on smoky bacon snacks. Now how do they decide on that? Maybe I should call a meeting!!! LOL

The bags are back today and there's quite a few people grabbing and taking them away with them.

is the city hall the same as municipal council hall ?

Oops I just look at the still pictures and see that there were more bags earlier.

It could be they collected clothing for the needy and have the clothing bag by size.

The man who came in went to where there were 2 bags in front of one of the tables and took one of the bags.

trix because they have papers taped alog the tables, I wonder if the bags have garage sale items that they plan on putting out on the tables.

A man just came in so I'll watch for awhile and see what he's doing.
