Hi silversquirrel, are you out of your heat wave yet ? Our heat wave broke yesterday but I did see that even though our temp will be in the low seventies tomorrow, the dewpoint will also be in the low seventies, making for another sticky day :(

Hi NQ. Just checking in.

Isaac, my town also lost a lot of businesses during covid but it has really come back in the last 2 years. Because of my Portland friend, I always saw at least a portion of Portland as a community of free-agers/hippies and that's probably because she was a hippie :)

I don't live there N Q, but I do live nearby. It's definitely a diverse city, but it hasn't been doing well since a lot of local businesses there closed down during COVID. But its still a nice place. And oh yes, when you're in the right neighborhoods the houses are basically the owner's personal painting canvas surrounded by botanical gardens. Especially in the Sellwood and Pearl district areas.

Isaac do you live in Portland ? I used to have a friend that live there and she would tell me about the older homes that were wildly painted and about how it had quite a diverse population in the area that she lived in.

Good catch N Q. I might take a walk there the next time im in town just to see for myself

Now that the neon sign in the window is on, I took a screenshot of it and asked Google where it is and from a Reddit post, a half dozen people stated it's the Mock Crest Tavern in Portland.
Would you click the thumbs up so the change goes through.

Isaac, I just checked the ip# against 7 ip locators and only one stated it was Vancouver, WA, the rest show it as being Portland, OR
I'm assuming that whoever changed this location, knows this store and knows that it's in Vancouver.
While trying to find the location of all these cams, I came across quite a few where one ip locator would show the ip coming from a state that was 5 states away from where all of the other locators were showing it as being located. On those cams I watched them to see what the weather was like or when the sun came up or set in order to guess which state the cam was located in and my guesses are probably wrong in some cases. With this cam I went with Portland because 6 out of 7 ip locators stated it was Portland.

strange. A few days ago it said the camera IP was based in Portland Oregon and then today its now saying Vancouver Washington. I've noticed my own home IP swap between Portland and Vancouver a few times in the past randomly. I wonder why that is
