MD I've never heard of painting trees but it sounds like a good idea.

Around here trees are wrapped in a heavy duty paper or mesh wire to keep them from being damaged by animals.

NQ ... it may be "friendly" paint to make them very noticeable. I've seen the same in France. It's only on the ones near the roadways, those in the park aren't treated.

The bottom of all these trees look like they've been debarked, but I'm assuming that it is just some kind of wrap on them.

A very CLEAN street indeed.

i used to watch this cam a lot last year...it was always busy and there were lots of stray dogs running around...a couple of old people would come here just to give the dogs food!!!!
