Hi indigo. Many years ago I used to leave my dog in kennels while I went on holiday. She was always well looked after. She had a passion for those triangular pieces of spready cheese and the kennels provided her with some every day. We always took her to the same place and she got quite excited as we turned into their grounds so I assume she liked the place.  She had a favourite blanket that we took with her, and some toys. There were enclosed grassy areas for the dogs to have exercise.

These dogs don't seem to have toys or personal bits but if it's this or the streets, I think they are better off here. But I agree with you, not nice to see them penned up.

I hate to see dogs penned up like this...
