Hello. Just as a point of interest, the limited Recent Comments section was utilized by MD and Trix and other past veterans to have secret conversations. One person would go to a dead cam and type in "Meet at XYZ cam" (which would be a dead cam somewhere) and the other would then bang out a few unrelated comments to clear the board. If you weren't right on top of it you had no idea. I caught a few of these and saw some amazing comments. It was quite a different world back then.

Homely - Yes Mr F. is still here! We're considering the policy, thank you for that suggestion. There's now a 'search' at the top of the community page too btw if you can think of anything to search for, for a trip down memory lane.

I'm running out of synonymous adjectives for "fantastic," OT. Great to hear is still the same ownership - Mr. F? I will pledge this to you, as I'm sure will N Q - we had a problem with waves of bullying from time to time before, which caused people to drop out, or at least stop commenting. I'll make an effort to gently redirect that rather than keeping quiet if it recurs. Though I'll leave politically inclined commentary alone, one way or another, as that's not why I am here. Maybe post a community policy about such things?

Hi, Opentopia and N Q - OT, thanks so much for restoring the Add to My Cams!!! One more thing to check - it seemed to me that people were not able to register as users at one point, so you might want to make sure folks can still do that. Is this new ownership now? We really appreciate the reinvigorated efforts!

opentopia, is there a way to have a scrolling "recent comments" on the home page instead of limiting how many can be viewed. Older comments fall off the page as new comments are made, which makes it impossible for somebody to check in here a day later for all comments made the day before or even an hour ealier to see what comments were made.

NQ - Brilliant. Let us know if you have any suggestions for improvement. We're looking at bits and pieces here and there for quick wins. The feeds should also now show in their proper resolution (widescreen or 4:3) rather than being forced into a square.

opentopia, thank you for all of the fixes that you have made, everything seems to be working so far for me. Also thanks for the coordinate tip, I hadn't even thought to add those. I mainly use ip2location.com to get locations from the ip# and that also gives the coordinates for the city, I'll start adding them to future cams that I edit. I'm having fun editing them, it gives me a chance to check each new cam out as I check for locations :)

Also, NQ, you can now edit the lat/lng coordinates so the pin on the map is more accurate. Bit of a faffy way to do it I know but it's there for now. You can obtain the coordinates in google maps by right clicking and they appear at the top, clicking them copies them to your clipboard.

Just looking into that but it's set for now.

opentopia, thank you for fixing the State/Region editing except in this case, Zurich isn't in the dropdown menu for regions.
